'The Traitors' Locked In for Three More Seasons on Peacock
Peacock is keeping 'The Traitors' in the castle for a long time to come. The streamer announced a renewal for three additional seasons of the hit reality competition, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Host Alan Cumming, who just won his third consecutive Emmy for his role, is signed on to return. The show itself swept the recent Emmy Awards, setting a new record for the most wins ever in one year for a series in its category, per TVLine.
The series, produced by Studio Lambert, pits 'Faithful' contestants against secretly selected 'Traitors' in a game of deception and elimination. The recently concluded fourth season, which crowned Love Island alum Rob Rausch, delivered the show's largest audience yet, with Peacock reporting a 72 percent viewership jump from the prior season.
Before the flagship show returns for its already-ordered fifth season in January, a civilian-focused spinoff is arriving. NBC will premiere 'The Traitors: New Blood' this Thursday, September 17, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
