Wo Long 2 Gets March 2027 Release Date and Limited-Time Demo
Koei Tecmo's Team Ninja has pinned down the launch for Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember. According to IGN, the action-RPG sequel is set to arrive on March 4, 2027.
The game is slated for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2. It will be available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from day one on those Microsoft platforms.
A free alpha demo is currently live, per the reports. This trial version can be downloaded on Sony, Microsoft, and PC storefronts, but it will only be accessible until September 30.
Team Ninja says the demo features a work-in-progress character creator and online co-op for three players. Players can tackle a battlefield scenario involving the armies of Liu Bei and Cao Cao, fighting demons drawn from Chinese legend.
Nintendo Life notes that finishing the demo nets players a special in-game helmet for use when the full title releases.
