Zelda Williams demands fans stop making AI videos of her late father Robin Williams
Zelda Williams, daughter of the late Robin Williams, is once again pleading with fans to stop creating and sharing AI-generated content featuring her father.
In a post on X reported by Variety, Zelda addressed a specific clip making the rounds. She called it a "supposedly 'private video'" that is "clearly AI, and not even particularly convincing AI." She mocked the quality, saying any fan who believes it must have watched her father's movies without sound.
Zelda directed her anger at the human creators behind the technology. "To you I say: leave him out of your delusional bullshit and let him rest," she wrote. She added, "Just because he's gone does not mean he's now your puppet. Have some shame."
This marks the latest in a series of statements from Williams on the issue. Per Variety, she asked fans to stop sending her AI videos of her dad in an Instagram post back in October 2025.
Last month, she and her brothers revived Robin Williams' official Instagram account. According to the report, the move was part of an effort to counteract the widespread unauthorized use of his image and voice through artificial intelligence.
