The film
What would you say if the world were ending in a few hours? As an asteroid speeds toward Earth, three high school students race against time to confess the truths they've long buried - a girl ready to risk her heart, a son afraid to reveal who he is, and a boy hiding a life-altering secret. But as emotions collide and relationships unravel, their "last words" may change everything - if they're brave enough to say them before time runs out.
This is a polarizing, mostly disliked YA drama that can't escape its flimsy premise. The story, about three high school students confessing secrets as an asteroid nears Earth, gets slammed for feeling contrived and emotionally thin. While the cast, including Ronnie Alonte as Kyle, Loisa Andalio as Beauty, and Queenay Mercado as Sofia, gives it their all, the film's central conceit mostly rings hollow for viewers.
