What people are saying
Updated nightlyOpinions are split almost down the middle on this killer hippo flick. The basic premise of tourists fighting a rampaging hippo in the Louisiana swamps feels pretty familiar to a lot of people, which is why the story and pacing scores are low. It's not all bad though, the humor actually lands pretty well for a small, appreciative group, and the swampy visuals get a decent nod. The hippo itself is the main event, with reactions to the creature and the chaos it causes being a total coin flip.
