The film
After succumbing to an obscure weight-loss craze involving the eating of human ashes, lovelorn medical student Hana finds herself haunted by the ghost of the person she's eating.
The real review
People are split on this one — some find the premise, where Hana eats human ashes and gets haunted, genuinely fresh and visually striking, while others can't get past how thin and slow the story feels. The originality and style are the big draws, but it loses folks when the plot around Midori Francis's haunted student doesn't keep up. A few even found the supporting cast flat. It's a memorable idea that doesn't fully deliver for everyone.
