When a Category 5 hurricane decimates a coastal town, the storm surge brings devastation, chaos, and something far more frightening onto shore: hungry sharks.

Thrash is a hurricane-shark movie, and the split reaction is exactly that blunt: people either had fun or didn't. The sharks and the decently nasty gore land for some, but the story is widely slammed as generic, and the characters — like Phoebe Dynevor's Lisa — mostly don't connect. The only bright spots seem to be Whitney Peak's Dakota and a handful of surprisingly funny moments. It’s exactly what it says on the tin, and a lot of people felt they'd already seen this tin before.
