Whalefall
Following the death of his father, Jay Gardiner goes diving off the central Coast of California in search of his remains, but is swallowed by a massive sperm whale. While trapped inside its belly with only one hour of oxygen left, Jay comes to realize that the hard-earned lessons his father imparted may be the key to his escape.

Updated nightlyReactions to the trailer for "Whalefall" are split right down the middle, with most people leaning positive on the premise of a man trapped in a whale's stomach, but plenty are skeptical. The hook of Jay Gardiner trying to survive using his father's lessons is seen as unique and visually striking, though some find the story itself a bit thin. The few comments on the acting are very high, especially for star Austin Abrams, who seems to be carrying a lot of the goodwill. The biggest sticking point is the cast, with a vocal group really disliking the announced ensemble, including Josh Brolin and Brian Duffield, which is dragging down a lot of the early excitement.
