Updated nightlyPeople are mostly excited for this animated fantasy, drawn to its stunning visuals which everyone agrees look incredible. The premise of two kids entering a magical forest to rescue a baby brother from a murder of crows is seen as solid, if a bit familiar. The main reason for the buzz is the studio Laika, whose name comes up constantly and mostly in a positive light, with fans hoping for another Coraline. That said, there's some clear hesitation, especially around director Travis Knight, whose involvement is getting a lot of side-eye. The main characters, Prue and Curtis, aren't generating much enthusiasm yet either.
