Blumhouse hit Other Mommy to scare up digital and physical release dates
Universal Pictures has announced the home release schedule for the recent box office horror hit, Other Mommy. The film will be available to purchase on digital platforms, including Prime Video and Fandango at Home, starting November 10.
A physical release on 4K and Blu-ray will follow on December 29, according to ScreenRant. The home media versions will include exclusive bonus content such as deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes featurettes on the film's special effects and performances.
The movie, which stars Jessica Chastain in dual roles as mother Ursula and a sinister doppelganger, is an adaptation of Josh Malerman's novel Incidents Around the House. It was directed by Rob Savage and produced by James Wan.
The film was reported to have grossed $108 million worldwide against a production budget under $20 million.
A streaming release date for Other Mommy has not yet been set, though the film is expected to land on Peacock when it does, as both platforms fall under the NBCUniversal umbrella.
