Doctor Doom Takes Center Stage in 'Avengers: Doomsday' Comic-Con Trailer
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige brought the fire to San Diego Comic-Con with an exclusive trailer for 'Avengers: Doomsday', shown only to the packed Hall H crowd, according to Variety. The footage shows Robert Downey Jr.'s Victor Von Doom on a throne, as an army of Sentinels is unleashed against the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.
The sneak peek also featured a confrontation between Doom and Reed Richards, with Doom declaring, "All of you have lived stolen lives. Now you must give them back," per TheWrap. The event wasn't without its own fourth-wall-breaking hero.
Ryan Reynolds crashed the Marvel panel in full Deadpool regalia to beg for a role in the movie, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The star, in a new gray suit, even endured a jab from panelist Paul Rudd during his on-stage plea.
