Final Fantasy VII Revelation Director Says Game Will End the Main Story
Final Fantasy VII Revelation director Naoki Hamaguchi is doing the press rounds, and he has a key message for nervous fans. According to IGN and Nintendo Life, he’s promised the upcoming third game will wrap up the main story in its base release.
Hamaguchi also confirmed the game will pull multiple spin-offs, including the Advent Children film, into its ending, per IGN. He emphasized that any future DLC would be considered a separate spin-off adventure, not an extension of the core plot.
In a separate interview reported by IGN, the director weighed in on a hot industry topic. He argued that physical game releases must continue, saying it would be a 'real shame' for that part of gaming culture to disappear.
