Fire Emblem Direct Drops New Game Details and a Big Surprise

Nintendo just aired a Direct presentation all about Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. IGN recapped the full slate of announcements from the stream.

According to Kotaku, one of the seven major takeaways was a shocking addition to the franchise's classic weaponry. The outlet reported that Fire Emblem has finally introduced guns into its tactical battles.

This is a major shake-up for the long-running fantasy series, which has traditionally stuck to swords, magic, and bows.
