Free Pokémon and Palworld Rival Aniimo Launches Across Consoles and PC
A new creature-collecting RPG aiming to take on both Pokémon and Palworld has launched and it's completely free, according to ScreenRant.
Titled Aniimo, the game from Pawprint Studio launched on September 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. The game is described as a free-to-play open-world adventure where players connect with creatures called Aniimo on the continent of Idyll.
Per the report, gameplay involves battling other creatures and players in real-time action, similar to Palworld, but without the survival mechanics or firearms. Players use abilities granted by their creature partners to explore, solve puzzles, and uncover secrets.
The game also features online co-op multiplayer with full crossplay and cross-progression support, so players can team up and carry their saves between platforms. A mobile version is slated for release on September 23.
Aniimo is rated Everyone 10+ for fantasy violence and includes in-game purchases.
