GTA 5 actor auditioned for 60 GTA 6 roles but got radio silence
Robert Bogue, the voice behind Grand Theft Auto V's slimy FIB agent Steve Haines, says Rockstar Games ghosted him after a massive audition process. According to IGN and Kotaku, the actor tried out for over 60 different roles in the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI.
Bogue told Kotaku, 'There’s definitely some disappointment and resentment' over the complete lack of response. It seems the studio didn't even bother with a rejection email after all that work.
The actor's fate is a stark reminder that in the cutthroat world of video game casting, even a series veteran can get left on read. Rockstar has offered no comment on the snub.
