GTA 6 file size is a massive 210 GB on PS5
You better clear some space on your console. Grand Theft Auto VI will reportedly be a massive download when it launches. According to reports from GameSpot and Kotaku, the game's standard edition will take up 210 GB of storage on PlayStation 5.
The file size was first posted online by the account PlayStation Game Size and later corroborated by Insider Gaming, as noted by Kotaku. The $80 standard edition is listed with a November 12 preload and a November 19 release time.
Per Kotaku, that huge file size does not include potential day-one patches, future content updates, or the eventual GTA Online component. The final storage footprint could grow even larger.
While 210 GB is enormous, it is not a record holder on consoles. Multiple Call of Duty titles and ARK: Survival Evolved with all its DLC still take up more space.
File size details for the $100 Ultimate Edition and for Xbox Series X and S consoles were not made available.
