Kairi joins Fortnite with a Keyblade, ready for battle alongside Sora and Riku

Kairi is finally getting her hands dirty in Fortnite. According to GameSpot, a new trailer for Chapter 7, Season 4 reveals the Kingdom Hearts heroine is joining the battle royale alongside Sora and Riku.

All three characters appear in their Kingdom Hearts 2 designs, each wielding their signature Keyblade. The trailer shows them in action, with Kairi no longer sidelined.

GameSpot notes that Kairi has historically gotten "the short end of the stick" in the series, but this crossover lets fans "choose violence" with her.

The new skins will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop, bringing a dose of Disney and Square Enix magic to the island.
