Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter to Voice Bill and Ted in Retro Video Game

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are officially returning to their most excellent roles. According to Collider, the actors will voice Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan in a new 16-bit style video game, 'Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure: Arcade.'
The game, developed by Art of Play Interactive, sends the duo on a side-scrolling adventure across 15 levels to recruit historical figures for a history report. Players will meet characters like Billy the Kid, Socrates, and Genghis Khan, engaging them in minigames to earn their help.
Gameplay will feature brawling action, pixel art graphics, and an '80s rock soundtrack. It will support solo play or local cooperative play for two people. Completing the story unlocks an arcade mode and additional minigames.
The project will launch a crowdfunding campaign on BackerKit in February 2027. A final release date is not yet set. The game is planned for current PlayStation and Xbox consoles, the Nintendo Switch, and personal computers.
Developers also plan to offer digital and limited physical editions, along with merchandise, through the crowdfunding campaign.
