Long-Lost Star Wars Animated Comedy Finally Sees The Light
A Star Wars animated comedy that’s been locked in a vault for over a decade is finally getting out.
According to MovieWeb, the completed Star Wars: Detours series will be exhibited at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles. The show was created by George Lucas and the team behind Robot Chicken, focusing on the absurdities of everyday life in the galaxy far, far away.
Kotaku reports that only a selection of episodes will be made viewable to the public. JoBlo notes the show will be part of the museum's display, not a traditional release.
Seth Green was heavily involved in the project, which was shelved after Disney acquired Lucasfilm.
