Rockstar teases GTA 6 soundtrack with posts from Travis Scott and Future
Rockstar Games is apparently starting to reveal the soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto 6, as reported by multiple outlets. A coordinated social media campaign has seen several major artists post cryptic images in the game's signature art style.
According to IGN, Travis Scott shared a picture of a woman's heeled feet with a caption mentioning Rockstar. Morgan Wallen posted an image of a pool ladder, and Future uploaded a photo showing a car with a Leonida license plate. Per Kotaku, even Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards got in on the act by posting a picture of an iguana.
The flurry of posts suggests these artists will have music featured on the game's radio stations. Kotaku notes that none of these artists were on a previously leaked song list, hinting the final soundtrack could be massive.
Travis Scott's caption read, in part, "NOW ITS TIME. MY RETURN TO GAME... See y'all soon @rockstargames," as reported by Kotaku. It's unclear if any musicians will appear as in-game characters, though Rockstar has a history of such cameos.
This marketing push comes as GTA 6's November 19 release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S approaches. GameSpot and Push Square also covered the teaser posts, speculating they point to an imminent music-related reveal.
