Ryan Gosling set to star as Ghost Rider in new MCU film

Ryan Gosling is officially suiting up for Marvel. The star is joining the MCU as the fiery antihero Ghost Rider in a new standalone film, according to Variety.

The project was announced by Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic-Con. Director Shawn Levy is set to helm the film, which is currently slated for a 2028 release, per multiple outlets including /Film and TheWrap.

This ends years of speculation about which iconic superhero Gosling would play, with JoBlo and MovieWeb confirming the casting as official.
