Story of Seasons Mobile Game Cancelled as Marvelous Axes Tencent Partnership
The farm life sim world has hit a snag. Marvelous has officially ended its six-year partnership with Chinese tech giant Tencent, according to Eurogamer.
As part of that split, a Story of Seasons mobile game that's been in development since 2019 has been officially cancelled. No details about the planned title were released.
The move marks a major shift for the publisher behind the long-running Harvest Moon successor series. It's unclear if a new mobile project will be greenlit elsewhere.
