The Elder Scrolls 6 finally gets its official title: Sentinel

Bethesda has officially named its long-awaited fantasy RPG sequel The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. The reveal came via a video message from director Todd Howard celebrating the studio's 40th anniversary, per IGN.
The announcement confirmed a recent report, as Xbox CEO Asha Sharma had previously teased the title with eight asterisks, matching the eight letters in Sentinel. A new logo for the game was also shown.
Sentinel is a major city located in Hammerfell, a region within The Elder Scrolls' world of Tamriel. According to IGN's details, this desert province lies to the west of Cyrodiil and southwest of Skyrim.
The game was first announced in 2018, and this marks the first substantial news about it in years. While no release date was given, speculation cited by IGN suggests the title could be a major exclusive for Microsoft's Xbox and PC platforms.
For now, fans have a name and a logo, with hopes for a fuller reveal potentially coming next year.
