Toy Story 5 hits $1 billion, becomes the top movie of 2026
Woody, Buzz, and the gang have done it again. Toy Story 5 has officially crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office, according to Variety, becoming the highest-grossing movie of the year so far. The Pixar sequel has raked in $448 million domestically and another $573 million internationally.
TheWrap reports this makes it the third film in 2026 to join the billion-dollar club. More importantly for Pixar, it's the studio's sixth movie overall to hit that milestone. Remarkably, three of those six billion-dollar earners now come from the Toy Story franchise itself.
