Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross return for David Fincher's 'Cliff Booth' movie

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are scoring David Fincher's new film, according to Variety. The duo's involvement was confirmed on the official poster for "The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth."

This marks the sixth time the Nine Inch Nails musicians have composed the music for a Fincher-directed project. Their first collaboration was on 2010's "The Social Network," for which they won an Oscar. They have since scored all of his films, including "Gone Girl" and "The Killer."

The film will premiere exclusively in IMAX theaters on November 25. After a two-week theatrical run, it will begin streaming on Netflix starting December 23.

As Variety reports, the story is a spin-off from Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." It follows Brad Pitt's stuntman character, Cliff Booth, and picks up his story nearly a decade later. The cast includes Elizabeth Debicki, Timothy Olyphant, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
