WWE Teams with Disney for Avengers Doomsday Wrestling Event

WWE and Disney are crashing the ring together for a major Avengers crossover, according to Variety. The partnership will see WWE host a two-day takeover at the ESPN sports complex within Disney World this December.

The festivities begin with the John Cena Classic on December 14. Per Variety, the event will include stars like Cody Rhodes, and fans in the WWE Club membership can vote live to decide which performer wins the event's championship. The whole show will air on Netflix as a special version of Monday Night Raw.

December 15 brings the premium live event Worlds Collide, which will have a theme based on Marvel's upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday. The movie hits theaters just three days later. The wrestling card will feature WWE talent alongside luchadores from AAA, a promotion WWE now owns.

The collaboration extends to merch, with WWE and Fanatics running a WWE World fan experience. They'll sell exclusive Avengers: Doomsday co-branded products, including championship belts, at the event, online, and in Disney stores.

Combo tickets for both days go on sale November 13 via Ticketmaster, with a presale starting November 12.
