Updated nightlyMilly Alcock is easily the best part of this Supergirl film, with people loving her take on Kara Zor-El. Unfortunately, her strong performance is buried in a movie that mostly doesn't work. The interstellar revenge story gets slammed as painfully generic and poorly paced, and a lot of the blame gets directed at director Craig Gillespie. Jason Momoa's Lobo and a cameo from David Corenswet's Superman get a few shrugs, but they can't save it. The overall reaction is pretty negative.
