Naomi Watts has revealed her secret voice role in the superhero blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Per Variety, the Oscar-nominated actress voiced E.V., the artificial intelligence assistant to Peter Parker.
Watts celebrated the gig on social media, sharing a photo from her virtual recording session. As noted by TheWrap, the role marks a reunion with Tom Holland, whom she played the mother to in the 2012 film The Impossible.
The actress expressed immense pride for the part, joking about the transition from playing Holland's on-screen mom to his character's AI companion. The record-breaking film is a co-production between Sony and Marvel Studios.
